Jason Flemyng has announced that he is going to be making his directorial debut.
The British actor has teamed up with mate Dexter Fletcher for a production company and he is set to helm the first project Eat Local.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "Dexter Fletcher and I have set up a production company to do stuff together.
"He was meant to direct this film and I was due to produce, but now we've been left with a window for a director because Dex is too busy directing another film. And I thought, well I'll do it then."
But Flemying is not turning his back on acting as he is set to return this week in Welcome To The Punch.
The movie if directed by Eran Creevy and sees Flemyng team up with Mark Strong and James McAvoy.
Flemyng has already enjoyed box office success in 2013 with I Give It a Year under his belt and he is set to appear in Jeans Generation.
However he will not be reprising the role of Azazel in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
