James Franco is set to direct and produce a stripper's Twitter story entitled 'Zola Tells All'.
The actor -turned-filmmaker will develop the true-life tale of Aziah "Zola" Wells, who chronicled a road trip she took with her violent pimp from Detroit to Florida in 148 posts on the social media site.
Her first tweet reads: "Okay listen up. This story long. So I met this white b***h at Hooters... (sic)"
The 20-year-old worked as a waitress in American diner Hooters, where she met her new friend Jessica, and the pair - along with Jessica's boyfriend Jarrett, and Jessica's violent Nigerian pimp named Z - embarked on a somewhat tragic journey.
The tweets that followed gave an account of the murder of a hustler, Jarrett's threat to leap from a four-story window and Jessica being forced to turn tricks.
Franco is working from a script by Andrew Neel and Mike Roberts, but the project is based on an article that was published in November by Rolling Stones journalist David Kushner about the saga, entitled 'Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind The Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted'.
