James Corden has joked that he would be the perfect choice for the role of Christian Grey in the adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Corden was on the red carpet in London last night to promote the release of his new film One Chance: a movie that inspired by the story of Paul Potts.
The role of Christian Grey is still up for grabs and Corden says that he is the obvious choice for the role.
He joked: “We are in talks about it, it is just a diary issue. I think, to anyone who has read the book, I am the first person that comes into your mind when you are thinking of that role.”
The role of Christian Grey had been given to actor Charlie Hunnam, but he left the role over the weekend.
Jamie Dornan, Matt Bomer and Alexander Skarsgard have all been linked to the part. Sam Taylor-Wood is set to direct.
While Corden won’t be in Fifty Shades of Grey, he is currently working on Into the Woods: a film that sees him team up with Johnny Depp, Chris Pine and Oscar winner Meryl Streep.
