Jaimie Alexander has hinted that we could be seeing her take on the role of Wonder Woman.
Alexander is best known for her role as Sif in the Thor franchise, but we could see her become part of the D.C. Comic universe in this new role.
The actress has hinted that there could be a stand alone film or an appearance in Batman vs Superman.
She told Forbes: "I would love for DC to put Wonder Woman in one of their upcoming flicks, either in her own movie or 'Batman vs. Superman', or just something even to introduce her.
"Being in the comic book world, we know a lot of the same people at DC and Marvel, so we hear a lot of things, but it's all speculation right now. But I would absolutely love that."
Alexander is back on the big screen with Thor: The Dark World, as she reprises the role of warrior Sif alongside Chris Hemsworth and Ray Stevenson.
And while Thor: The Dark World has only just hit the big screen, the actress has confirmed that a third film is already in the pipeline.
Alexander is currently filming London Fields, which sees her star alongside Amber Heard and Jim Sturgess.
