Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is set to be the action movie not to miss this January as Chris Pine takes over the title role.
This is the latest incarnation of the Tom Clancy created character to hit the big screen, and the first since Ben Affleck in The Sum of All Fears.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit sees Kenneth Branagh return to the director's chair for the first time since the success of Thor - Branagh will also star in the film.
An all star cast has been assembled for the film, as Pine and Branagh have been joined by Keira Knightley, Kevin Costner and Colm Feore.
The story follows Ryan from 9/11, through his tour of duty in Afghanistan, which scarred him forever, and into his early days in the Financial Intelligence Unit of the modern CIA where he becomes an analyst, under the guardianship of his handler, Harper (Costner).
When Ryan believes he’s uncovered a Russian plot to collapse the United States economy, he goes from being an analyst to becoming a spy and must fight to save his own life and those of countless others, while also trying to protect the thing that’s more important to him than anything, his relationship with his fiancée Cathy (Knightley).
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is released 24th January 2014.
