Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit will be hitting the big screen in the new year and the new international poster for the film has been revealed.
Chris Pine will take on the title role for the first time, as the Tom Clancy returns to film once more.
The poster features Pine alongside Kevin Costner and Keira Knightley; the latter will play his partner Cathy.
The movie also marks the return of Kenneth Branagh to the director's chair: this is his first film since the huge success of Thor in 2011.
As well as being in the director's chair, Branagh will also star alongside Pine and co.
The story follows Ryan from 9/11, through his tour of duty in Afghanistan, which scarred him forever, and into his early days in the Financial Intelligence Unit of the modern CIA where he becomes an analyst, under the guardianship of his handler, Harper (Costner).
When Ryan believes he’s uncovered a Russian plot to collapse the United States economy, he goes from being an analyst to becoming a spy and must fight to save his own life and those of countless others, while also trying to protect the thing that’s more important to him than anything, his relationship with his fiancée Cathy (Knightley).
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is the fifth Jack Ryan film to be released and the first since The Sum of All Fears back in 2002.
