Iron Man 3 has comfortably held onto the top spot at the UK box office as it was the only film to make over £1 million over the weekend.

This makes it two weeks as #1 as the film took a further £6.3 million to see off the competition.

Iron Man 3 has so far taken in excess of $740 million and is the biggest grossing movie of the year so far.

The highest entry on the chart this week came in the form of 21 & Over as it opened at number three.

The movie follows three friends on a wild night out to celebrate a 21st and sees Jon Lucas and Scott Moore in the director's chair.

Olympus Has Fallen a single place this week to number three while All Stars was new in at four.

Tom Cruise's latest film Oblivion rounded off the top five this week as it dropped two places from number three.

The Croods is another of the most successful films of 2013 but it slipped two places this week to six - falling out of the top five for the first time since it's release.

I'm So Excited and Dead Man Down were the final new entries on the chart this week as they opened at seven and eight.

The Place Beyond The Pines was down four at nine while Evil Dead was the biggest faller as it dropped five places to ten.
