Insurgent is set to hit the big screen next year, and the first official image for the movie has been released by Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment.
Insurgent is the sequel to Divergent - which was released earlier this year - and will see Shailene Woodley return to the central role of Tris Prior in the franchise.
And Woodley features in this new image, but it is Theo James - who will be returning as Four - who takes centre stage.
Woodley, James, Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, and Kate Winslet are some of the familiar faces that will be returning to the franchise. However, there were some new names to watch out for as Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer are two of the big new additions.
Watts is set to join the cast list as Evelyn, while Oscar winner Spencer will star as Johanna.
It is also all change in the director's chair as Robert Schwentke has taken over from Neil Burger. The movie is based on the hit book series by Veronica Roth, and has been adapted for the big screen by Brian Duffield and Akiva Goldsman.
The Divergent Series: Insurgent raises the stakes for Tris as she searches for allies and answers in the ruins of a futuristic Chicago. Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Winslet), the leader of the power-hungry Erudite elite.
Racing against time, they must find out what Tris's family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them.
Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world.
A brand new trailer for the film is expected to drop at the end of the week.
