Idris Elba has questioned why Naomie Harris did not receive a Bafta nomination for Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
Elba takes on the role of Nelson Mandela in the new film: which picked up a Best British Film nomination yesterday.
However, the performances of both Elba and Harris - who plays Winnie Mandela - were both overlooked in the acting categories.
Taking to Twitter, Elba said: "Ok peeps, ...I've got an appointment at the @BAFTA I'm gonna do a #Lutherrage and ask where @NaomieHarris nomination?"
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom is based on the Mandela memoir of the same name, and sees Justin Chadwick in the director's chair.
Elba is in the Golden Globe mix this weekend as he picked up a Best Actor - Drama nomination for his fantastic performance.
There is double Golden Globe nomination success for the British actor as he was also picked up a nod for his work in TV series Luther.
Sadly, Elba will not be fighting it out for the Best Actor Bafta as Christian Bale, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks and Bruce Dern were nominated.
Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom is out now.
