It looks like Hugh Jackman will be reprising the role of Wolverine in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Rumours have swirled about the actor's involvement in the upcoming X-Men movie - we have yet to receive any official word from the studio or from Jackman himself.
However, Kika NY - a hand-made leather goods designer based in Brooklyn, New York - posted an image on Instagram that seemed to confirm his involvement.
The picture has now been removed, but the image was captioned: "We were just asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman who is filming the new X MEN movie in Montreal. We started sketching - The bag will be ready next week- we will keep you posted. (sic)"
Jackman is the only actor to have appeared in all of the X-Men movies from the first X-Men back in 2000 to the box office smash of X-Men: Days of Future Past twelve months ago.
X-Men: Apocalypse will see Jackman reunite with director Bryan Singer, who directed X-Men, X2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past. There are plenty of other familiar faces returning as James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult are back as Charles Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, and Beast.
Oscar Isaac, Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Olivia Munn are some of the big new additions as they have been cast as Apocalypse, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, and Psylocke.
Jackman is also set to return for a third solo film, which will be the last time that we see him take on this role - which is the character that made him a global superstar. The as yet untitled Wolverine sequel will see James Mangold back in the director's chair and the film is set to hit the big screen at the beginning of 2017.
Chappie was the last time that we saw Jackman on the big screen but he is set to star in Eddie the Eagle and the highly anticipated Pan.
Filming on X-Men: Apocalypse is underway and the movie will be released 19th May 2016.
