Hugh Jackman says that director Bryan Singer has 'knocked it out of the park' with X-Men: Days of Future Past.
X-Men: Days of Future past is set to be one of the superhero films not to miss next year as the cast from X-Men: First Class and the original franchise combine for the first time.
Jackman will be reprising the role of Wolverine as he reunites with Singer for their third X-Men movie together.
Speaking to E! News the actor said: "As excited as [the fans] are, I can tell you it'll exceed those expectations," he teased.
"I feel it's that good. I'm very, very excited about it. [Bryan] has knocked it out of the park."
We have already seen Jackman take on the much loved role of Wolverine in The Wolverine earlier this year; a great end of credits scene led us into the new ensemble film.
Bryan Singer was the original director of the X-Men franchise and was before X-Men and X2.
Jackman is joined by original cast members such as Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart and Halle Berry, while James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are also returning.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is released 22nd May 2014.
