Henry Cavill says that he has used his success to get back at those who bullied him at school and has had the last laugh.
Cavill's star has rocketed since taking on the role of Superman in Man of Steel back in the summer of 2013 - providing everyone who bullied him for having ambition wrong. Speaking about the bullying he endured at school, Cavill told The Sun newspaper: "Because I was overweight and I had ambitions, I was target number one for the alphas of each group."
The actor admits that he does get a kick out of ignoring those who bullied him when they have met in more recent years.
He continued: "I've had a couple of awkward moments where I've seen one in a room and deliberately ignored him and really enjoyed it.
"He kept looking over and trying to make eye contact and I just kept on blanking him. That was enjoyable because he looks like he's still a w*****."
Cavill is back on the big screen this week as he teams up with Armie Hammer for the film version of hit sixties television show The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Cavill takes on the role of Napoleon Solo in the film as he teams up with director Guy Ritchie for the first time.
Cavill will also be back as Superman next year in the highly anticipated film Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Zack Snyder is back in the director's chair, while Ben Affleck is taking over the role of Batman for the first time. It will also be the first time that Cavill and Affleck have worked together.
Dawn of Justice is already one of the most talked about movies of 2016 and is set to be a box office smash when it is released in March.
We are also going to see Cavill go on to reprise the role of Superman in the upcoming Justice League movies.
As if that is not enough, Cavill's name also keeps coming up when talking about who could possible take over the role of James Bond when Daniel Craig vacates the role.
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is released 25th March 2016.
