Henry Cavill has said that he would love to see Cyborg make an appearance in the Man of Steel sequels.
Cavill reveals that he was excited when STAR Labs was mentioned in Man of Steel and hopes that that will lead to the Cyborg character being introduced to the new Superman franchise.
Speaking to Digital Spy the actor said: "What really intrigued me is [the] reference to STAR Labs [in Man of Steel]. Cyborg would make a wonderful character and an incredible bridge between superhumans and humanity in a different way to Batman.
"I don't know where he's going to come in, or if he's going to come in but that's one I'm particularly excited about."
Cavill will be reprising the role of Clark Kent next year as work on Batman vs. Superman, the sequel to Man of Steel, is set to get underway.
The movie will see Cavill reunite with filmmaker Zack Snyder as well as team up with Ben Affleck as he takes on the role of Batman for the first time.
Cavill has already completed work on The Great Wall and is currently filming The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Directed by Guy Ritchie The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is a big screen adaptation of the TV show and sees Cavill take on the role of Napoleon Solo. Armie Hammer is on board as Iilya Kuryakin, while Hugh Grant and Alicia Vikander will also star.
Batman vs. Superman is set for a 2015 release.
