Harley Quinn's look in 'Suicide Squad' was inspired by Debbie Harry.
Margot Robbie - who plays The Joker's sidekick in the DC Comics superhero blockbuster - has revealed seeing a picture of the Blondie rock star sealed the deal after trying on around a 100 different versions of her final outfit.
Speaking on 2DAY FM's Rove And Sam radio show, she said: "I tried on like 100 different variations of the costume but when I saw a picture of - we found this picture of Debbie Harry - and I was like, 'That's it, that is dope.'"
It comes after the 26-year-old Australian beauty said she would love to see The Joker - played by Jared Leto - and Harley team up for their own spin-off movie.
She previously said: "I'm trying to make that happen. Not for anything specifically, but just something - there's so much more to do."
Her comments come after the 44-year-old Thirty Seconds to Mars rocker revealed that he thought there were already enough deleted scenes of him as The Joker in 'Suicide Squad' to make a standalone film.
Jared - who only appears on screen in the DC Comics movie for 15 minutes - said: "I think that I brought so much to the table in every scene, it was probably more about filtering all of the insanity, because I wanted to give a lot of options, and I think there's probably enough footage in this film for a Joker movie."
