Danny Dyer has landed a new movie role - and he is the only character.
The 'Football Factory' star is flying to Dublin later this month to begin shooting new film 'Three Quick Breaths', which he says has a "really mad concept", and he had to undergo a "very, very in-depth medical for insurance reasons" before filming can begin.
Speaking on his podcast 'Live And Let Dyers', he said: "I can’t talk too much about it. It’s a really mad concept. I’m trying to push myself now that I’m known as sort of Marlon Brando in the acting world because of Rivals, you know.
"Even though I’ve been acting for so long anyway, this is something that is going to be a real test for me. But I had to have a very, very in-depth medical for insurance reasons."
Danny has compared his forthcoming film to 2002 motion picture 'Phone Booth', in which Colin Farrell plays a publicist trapped in a phone booth with an extortionist's sniper rifle pointed at him.
The former 'EastEnders' star added: "I’m the only one in this film. It’s only one character. Just me. I won’t go too into it but it’s a bit like 'Phone Booth' with Colin Farrell.
"It’s quite a clever idea. And because I’m the only actor, I had two doctors waiting at my door."
Danny's upcoming movie part comes after he recently told how he landed another role - as a real-life teacher.
He gave some advice to performing arts students at his 17-year-old daughter Sunnie Dyer's school, but he was told of for using some colourful language.
Danny explained: "I did swear a lot in the lessons.
"Hardly any of them learned their f****** lines."
