Gerard Butler has dropped out of the remake of Point Break.
Butler has been linked to the film for some time, and was set to play Bodhi - originally played by Patrick Swayze.
However, Heat Vision have reported that due to scheduling conflicts and creative differences, he has left the film.
Point Break will see Ericson Core in the director's chair, while the screenplay has been penned by Kurt Wimmer.
Luke Bracey is still set to take on the role of Johnny Utah.
As for Butler, he will voice the character of Stoick the Vast for the second time in How to Train Your Dragon 2.
He has also completed work on God of Egypt. He is set to reprise the role of Mike Banning in London Has Fallen: the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen.
