Geroge Clooney says he has had a mixed career as he has made movies that were terrible and others that he is proud of.
We haven't see Clooney on the big screen since The Descendants but the Oscar winner is set to return later this year with sci-fi film Gravity.
Speaking to TV Times the actor said:"I did a lot of terrible TV shows and was really bad in them and I've done some dreadful films I was awful in, but nobody really noticed.
"I'm one of the lucky ones who got to make a lot of mistakes when no one was paying attention."
"I've been lucky enough to do a few films that will last longer than an opening weekend and those are the ones I'm proud of.
"I have a few that I look back on and say, 'Well that worked'. And I've had some that didn't really work and I don't mind that as long as I've attempted to push the envelope."
The actor is currently back in the director's chair as he works on The Monuments Men - a big screen adaptation of the novel by Robert M. Edsel.
Clooney is also on the cast list alongside Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett and Bill Murray.
The Monuments Men will be the first directing project for Clooney since he enjoyed huge success with The Ides of March.
