Gary Oldman has described his Oscar experience as a fairytale.
Oldman has picked up a Best Actor nod for his performance in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and was in LA earlier this week for the Oscar Nominees lunch.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "I'm deeply honoured to be part of it.
"I've decided to completely embrace it. I'm having the time of my life. It's a fairytale.
"You can either be incredibly overwhelmed by it or embrace it and run with it.
"So I'm thrilled. I'm hanging out there with George Clooney and Brad Pitt."
The actor and the movie is also nominated for a string of Baftas and we will see whether it will walk away with any prizes on Sunday.
But we will be seeing Oldman back on the big screen in the summer as he reprises his role as Jim Gordon in The Dark Knight Rises.
