Frank Grillo says he is 'cautiously optimistic' about his Marvel future, says that he does have a multi-contract deal.
Grillo took on the role of Brock Rumlow for the first time in Captain America: The Winter Soldier earlier this year, alongside Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.
When asked by Collider is he was excited about exploring this character further, the actor said: "Yeah. I have a multi-contract deal with Marvel.
"The movie was an origin film for that character. If you know the comic, he has a significant presence. So, knock wood.
"With Marvel, you can't say very much, but I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll have some fun, in the next few Marvel movies."
The Winter Soldier enjoyed critical and commercial success earlier this year, and it remains one of the biggest films of 2014 so far.
Grillo also return to the big screen in horror film The Purge: Anarchy, which saw him take on the role of Sergeant. The movie also saw the actor reunite with director and writer James DeMonaco.
While there is no news on Grillo's Marvel future, we will be seeing him on the big screen in Demonic, Big Sky, and A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island.
The actor has also been linked to a role in the U.S. remake of hit action movie The Raid.
