Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is already one of the most anticipated films of 2016 as Zack Snyder is set to return to the director's chair for the sequel to Man of Steel.

Not only are we going to see Henry Cavill reprise the role of Superman, we are going to see Ben Affleck take on the role of Batman for the first time. It will be the first time that we have seen Batman on the big screen since The Dark Knight Rises back in the summer of 2012.
However, we have not yet see any footage from the movie... but Snyder took to Twitter yesterday to announce that the first trailer for the film will drop on Monday (20th April).
Snyder didn't just leave us with that news, he also released a teaser video that gave us a little look at the costumes for the title characters - check it out:
Dawn of Justice is set to be the first film on the road to a Justice League film, as we are also going to be introduced to the characters of Wonder Woman and Aquaman - played by Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa.
Jesse Eisenberg is also on board as Lex Luthor, while Amy Adams and Diane Lane are just two of the familiar faces returning as Lois Lane and Martha Kent.
2016 is set to be a great year if you are a fan of the comic book movie as there are a whole host of films on the horizon - Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is one that you cannot miss.
