Nocturnal Animals is one of the autumn movies I am looking forward to seeing a trio of great new images from the film have been released.
Nocturnal Animals marks the return of Tom Ford to the director's chair in what is his first feature film since he made his debut with A Single Man back in 2009.
The movie is based on the novel Tony and Susan by Austin Wright and sees Ford on writing duties as well as in the director's chair.
Nocturnal Animals sees Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams team up to take on the central roles of Tony Hastings and Susan Morrow and they feature in the images, which were released by Entertainment Weekly.
A terrific cast has been assembled for the film as Gyllenhaal and Adams are joined by Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Shannon, and Laura Linney.
An art gallery owner is haunted by her ex-husband's novel, a violent thriller she interprets as a veiled threat and a symbolic revenge tale.
Ford believed a wonderful debut with A Single Man six years ago and I am looking forward to seeing what he delivers with his next film projects.
The cast that he has assembled is an impressive one and Nocturnal Animals is already promising to be a great character drama.
Could Nocturnal Animals follow in the footsteps of A Single Man and be an Oscar contender? I guess we are going to have to wait and see.
Nocturnal Animals is released 4th November.
