Interstellar is one of the most anticipated science fiction films of the year, and the first two official images have been released.
The excitement surrounding the film went up a notch last week, as we were treated to the fantastic first full length trailer.
Now, the official Interstellar Facebook page has debuted two great new images: one from the film and one of Christopher Nolan doing what he does best.
Interstellar will mark the first film for Nolan since the huge success of The Dark Knight Rises back in the summer of 2012, and he has brought together a terrific cast.
Interstellar will mark the first film for Matthew McConaughey since he won a Best Actor Oscar at the beginning of the year for Dallas Buyers Club.
McConaughey will be joined by Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, and Michael Caine.
Interstellar chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.
