The first image of Ben Foster as Lance Armstrong has been released by StudioCanal.
Foster takes on the role of the controversial cyclist in a new biopic: the film will be directed by Stephen Frears.
Foster is joined on the cast list by Jesse Plemons and Chris O'Dowd, while the screenplay has been penned by John Hodge.
The film is set to chart Armstrong's rise as well as his battle with cancer and the doping scandal.
Foster will be back on the big screen this autumn with Kill Your Darlings, a film that sees him team up with Daniel Radcliffe and Dane DeHaan.
He has also completed work on Lone Survivor: the movie based on the true story of the failed SEAL mission of 2005 directed by Peter Berg.
Filming on the as yet untitled Lance Armstrong biopic is currently underway.
