Ben Affleck as Batman
Zack Snyder has released the first image of Ben Affleck as Batman.
Yesterday the director took to Twitter to post a teaser image of the new Batmobile, and now we have got our first glance of the actor/director in his new role.
Filming on Batman vs Superman is underway, and it will be the first time that we have seen Batman on the big screen since The Dark Knight Rises.
Affleck will take over the role of Bruce Wayne from Christian Bale: a piece of casting that was met with a whirlwind of controversy last year.
Affleck will star alongside Henry Cavill, who will reprise the role of Clark Kent in the film.
Batman vs Superman is the sequel to Man of Steel, and will see Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg and Amy Adams also star.
Gadot will be introduced as Wonder Woman, while Eisenberg will take over the role of Lex Luthor.
Batman vs Superman will be released in 2016.
