The Fantastic Four is set to be one of the biggest superhero movies of the year, as Josh Trank returns to the director's chair for the first time since Chronicle.

We have already been treated to a poster and trailer for the highly anticipated film, and now the first four images from the movie have arrived thanks to Empire.
Fantastic Four sees Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, and Michael B Jordan team up for the first time as they take over the roles of Reed Richard, Sue Storm Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm - and the four actors all feature in these terrific new images:
Director Trank has also enlisted Toby Kebbell to take on the role of Victor Domashev… however, we are yet to get a good look at this character.
As for Trank, this is his first film since he made his directorial debut with Chronicle back in 2012 - Fantastic Four sees him reunite with Chronicle actor Jordan for the second time. Trank has also worked with Simon Kinberg and Jeremy Slater to pen the film's screenplay.
Fantastic Four, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, centres on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways.
Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
There are a whole host of superhero films set to hit the big screen this year, and Fantastic Four is definitely one that you should be watching out for. I cannot wait to see Trank put his stamp on this film, in what is set to be the biggest movie project of his career to date.
