Quinto and Urban have been with the franchise since the release of the first film back in 2009. Star Trek Beyond sees the pair reunite with Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, John Cho, and Anton Yelchin - who reprise the roles of Kirk, Uhura, Scotty, Sulu, and Chekov.
In Star Trek Beyond, the Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.
Star Trek Beyond is promising to be the biggest Star Trek film yet and it will be exciting to see in which direction Lin will take the story and the characters.
However, the release of Star Trek Beyond is marred by sadness, following the unexpected death of Anton Yelchin in an accident at his home earlier this summer.
