There has been a lot of talk about Doctor Strange already this year but the cameras have started rolling on the latest Marvel movie.

Doctor Strange is just one of a series of new characters and franchises that will be added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe over the next few years... and this is set to be one of the most interesting.
Benedict Cumberbatch will be introduced as Doctor Strange and he is on set in Nepal as the cameras start rolling. And the first on set image of Cumberbatch was caught by Twitter user @Technicalyright and posted on the social media site:
The movie will see Cumberbatch team up with filmmaker Scott Derrickson in what will be the biggest film role of his career to date. Doctor Strange also sees Derrickson work on his first Marvel film.
Derrickson is no stranger to the director's chair with the likes of The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Sinister, and Deliver Us From Evil already under his belt, but this is a huge project for the filmmaker.
He has assembled a terrific cast as Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, and Chiwetel Ejiofor will star alongside Cumberbatch.
Doctor Strange will be the second of two Marvel films to be released next year and will come after Captain America: Civil War, which will kick off Phase 3 of movies.
It is still unknown if we will see Doctor Strange outside of the solo franchise appear in the upcoming Avengers movie, but I cannot wait to see Cumberbatch take on this role.
