Felicity Jones says she was flattered to discover that Drake Doremus wanted to work with her again.
Jones and Doremus worked together for the first time with Like Crazy, and the director developed film Breathe In to work with the up and coming actress.
And Jones reveals that she was thrilled work with Doremus again.
Speaking to Collider, the actress said: "I was incredibly flattered, and really happy to come back and work with him again.
"We have such a similar sense of humour that, even though we can be telling quite mysterious, complicated stories, we’ll always be laughing, off set.
"We just have a shared sensibility. It’s funny how the more serious the film, the more humour there is outside of it."
Breathe In sees Jones star alongside Guy Pearce, Mackenzie Davis and Amy Ryan, and follows a young exchange student who arrives in New York to stay with a family.
Breathe In is just one of the projects that we will see Jones star in this year, as she will also star in The Amazing Spider Man 2, True Story and Theory of Everything.
Breathe in is released 19th July.
