Felicity Jones says that she is not in the running for the lead female role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Casting is still underway for the major female role in the movie but Jones says that she hasn't auditioned for the part.
Speaking to HeyUGuys the actress said: "No, I'm not part of that. I haven't auditioned for that one and I never even saw the script."
Jessica Brown Findlay and Anna Kendrick are just two of the names that are being linked to this role although no announcement has been made as to who has landed the part.
Chris Evans will be reprising the role of Captain America in the second stand alone film for this Marvel character.
Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo are just two of the new faces on the cast list while Samuel L. Jackson will be back as Nick Fury.
Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are in the director's chair this time around taking over from Joe Johnston.
Filming on Captain America: The Winter Solider begins filming later this year.
