Celebrating the upcoming Justice League home release is high on our agenda, so this week we bring to our readers an exclusive video, delving into the rich history of the comic book superhero Aquaman. Justice League brings some of the world’s most recognisable superheroes together on the big screen for the first time, as Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Momoa as Aquaman team up to take down an opponent that threatens the future of the entire planet.
The movie sees Bruce Wayne (Affleck) forced to enlist the help of allies both new and old, as the villainous Steppenwolf threatens the future of humanity in his hunt for a trio of Mother Boxes. Working quickly alongside Diana Prince (Gadot) to recruit a team of metahumans, the pair form a group known as the Justice League to save the globe from a catastrophic event.
Also starring Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Justice League comes from director Zack Snyder and filmmaker Joss Whedon, who also holds a screenplay credit alongside Chris Terrio. Snyder and Terrio are responsible for the story in the movie.
