Ewan McGregor says that he had a 'fantastic' time working on the Beauty and the Beast.
Beauty and the Beast is a live-action re-telling of the animated Disney classic and will see McGregor take on the role of Lumiere in the film alongside Emma Watson, Luke Evans, and Dan Stevens - who will play Belle, Gaston, and the Beast.
And while McGregor didn't give much away about the film, he has a great time working with the actors that make up a terrific and talented cast list.
Speaking to Collider about the film, McGregor said: "It is very exciting. It was great to work with Bill Condon. Our experience on set was great as it was Ian McKellen, Emma Watson, and Stanley Tucci. It was everything I love about actors.
"We were shooting in London and when they were changing the camera positions, it was just this great group of actors, sitting in fantastic clothes, drinking coffee and telling wonderful stories. It was fantastic.
"I think Bill is the right person to make that film and the actors that he got are really really good. I am sure that it is going to great."
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Emma Thompson, Josh Gad, and Kevin Kline are also on board. Beauty and the Beast is the first film for Condon since the success of Mr. Holmes last year. It is also the first time that McGregor has teamed up with the filmmaker.
Beauty and the Beast is the latest in a string of live-action Disney movies and will follow in the footsteps of Maleficent, Cinderella, and The Jungle Book.
McGregor will be back on the big screen in May as he teams up with Damian Lewis and Naomie Harris for Our Kind of Traitor, which is an adaptation of the John le Carré novel of the same name.
The actor is also set to start work on the Trainspotting sequel, which will reunite him with director Danny Boyle for the first time since the success of the first movie back in 1996. The movie will see him reprise the role of Renton.
Beauty and the Beast is the released 17th March 2017.
