Ethan Hawke has described working with Julie Delpy and Richard Linklater like being in a band.
The trio have come together for a third time to work on film Before Midnight - the sequel to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset.
Hawke and Delpy star in the film and Linklater is back in the director's chair while the three of them penned the screenplay.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "I get into the room with Rick and Julie and the characters start talking to each other, it's like being in a band, you get in a room and you know what instruments you play."
"If you had asked me in 1994 if I was going to write and star in a trilogy and still be talking about it 18 years later I would have thought it was a ridiculous idea."
It was back in 2004 when we last saw Hawke and Delpy play the roles of Jesse and Celine and we will see their relationship develop further in this movie.
Hawke has also finished work on Getaway while he is currently working on Predestination.
Before Midnight is released 21st June.
