Emma Watson has joined the cast of new film Regression.
Watson will star opposite Ethan Hawke in the new film, which will be directed by Alejandro Amenabar.
Amenabar has brought us movies such as The Sea Inside and The Others, but this will be his first directorial outing since Agora back in 2010.
In a statement Watson revealed that she was thrilled at the opportunity to work with the director: "I am passionate about Alejandro and his work and am so happy to be collaborating with him.
"I'm really excited by the challenge my character presents to me as an actress... I can't wait to begin."
The Weinstein Company are behind this new movie, but the plot is being kept under wraps.
Watson has tackled a range of different role recently, with The Perks of Being A Wallflower, The Bling Ring and This Is The End all under her belt.
She will be back on the big screen this April as she stars in Darren Aronosky's biblical epic Noah.
The movie will see Watson star alongside Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman and Ray Winstone.
