Emily Browning has described kissing Kit Harington for the first as 'terrifying'.
Browning stars alongside Harington in Pompeii this week: the first time that they have ever worked together.
And the actress admits that they had got on so well, that when it was time to lock lips they felt like siblings.
Speaking to the Press Association, the actress said: "Kit and I got on well. We became good friends before we ever had to shoot a real love scene, because for most of the movie, it's all stolen glances.
"The first day we actually had to kiss was sort of terrifying because we felt almost like siblings by that time."
Pompeii is the latest film from director Paul W.S. Anderson, and is one of the biggest movies of Browning's career so far.
The movie sees her also star alongside Carrie-Anne Moss, Jared Harris, Kiefer Sutherland and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
Browning has also completed work on Shangri-La Suite with Ashley Greene and Luke Grimes.
Pompeii is out now.
