Eloise Mumford will embrace the next director of the 'Fifty Shades' franchise "with open arms".
Mumford - who starred as Anastasia Steele's roommate, Kate Kavanagh, in the movie released earlier this year - was sad to see Sam Taylor-Johnson walk away from the role of director, but she's still eagerly looking forward to the next movie.
Asked whether she suspected Sam would quit the franchise, Eloise exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "We didn't even know when we were shooting if we would make the second or third movie.
"There was always the anticipation of it, but it depended on the film coming out and doing incredibly well, which it did. So, while we were filming, we were all just concentrating on making the best movie that we possibly could.
"We really succeeded at that, I think, in large part to Sam Taylor-Johnson and what an incredible director she is."
Despite regretting Sam's decision to walk away, Eloise is looking forward to working with a new director.
She shared: "I loved working with her so much, I honestly can't say enough things about working with her. It'll be really ... I don't know if sad is the right word, but we will miss her very much on set, because she really formed the film version of this with such grace that I'm very curious to see who the next director is.
"We will embrace him or her with open arms, but it was a really great experience getting to work with Sam."
'Fifty Shades of Grey' is available on Digital HD now and Blu-ray, DVD on June 22, 2015 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
