Elizabeth Olsen could be in the running to take on the role of Scarlet Witch in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Saoirse Ronan was the heavy favourite to take on this new role in the Avengers franchise but, according to Bleeding Cool, the actress has decided to pass.
Bleeding Cool also report that Joss Whedon's attention has now moved on to Elizabeth Olsen.
Siblings Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are two of the new faces that we are going to see join the line-up in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been tipped for the role of Quicksilver ever since it was announced that the character was going to be involved in the sequel.
Earlier this summer Taylor-Johnson revealed that he has met with Whedon to chat about the character. He is still believed to be in talks to appear in the film.
Should Olsen and Taylor-Johnson land the parts it would be a second project together after they have just finished working on Godzilla.
Godzilla is just one of the projects that we are going to be seeing Olsen in as she has also completed work on Oldboy and Therese.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is released 1st May 2015. Filming is set to get started at the beginning of next year.
