Elizabeth Banks has revealed that the idea of justice and injustice made her want to make her new movie Man On A Ledge.
The actress teams up with Sam Worthington and Jamie Bell in the crime/thriller movie.
The film sees her take on the role of police psychologist who has to talk down an ex con who is threatening to jump off a building in Manhattan.
Speaking to The Washington Post the actress said: "I'm very compelled by justice and injustice.
"I'm not afraid of sharks or heights or dying on airplanes. I am afraid of being wrongly convicted for a crime I did not commit. I literally don't trust our legal system."
And the actress admits that she is delighted with how the movie has turned out.
"It's a great Saturday night date movie where if you bring your girlfriend or wife, they are cool with it.
"They [won't] want their money back, because guys are going to see it."
Man On A Ledge is just one of the movies that Banks has out in the early part of 2012 as she is also set to star in The Hunger Games.
Man On A Ledge is released 3rd February.
