Dwayne Johnson has called Hercules his 'fav role'.
Johnson is set to take on the title role in Hercules as he teams up with director Brett Ratner.
The actor kept fans up to date during filming last year, and now he has revealed on Twitter just how much he has loved working on this movie.
Johnson wrote: "My fav role of all time without a doubt is Hercules.
"10 years of hard work & slow prep for the role. Summer 2014. #RockTalk (sic)"
Hercules is based on the comic book by Steve Moore, and has been adapted into a screenplay by Ryan Condal.
Johnson will lead an all star cast as john Hurt, Ian McShane, Joseph Fiennes and Rufus Sewell are all also on board.
There will be two Hercules movies released in 2014, the second will see Kellan Lutz in the title role in The Legend of Hercules.
As for Johnson, 2014 is set to be another busy year as he has to complete work on Fast & Furious 7. He also has San Andreas and TV movie Ballers in the pipeline.
Hercules is released 8th August.
