Dwayne Johnson has hinted that Fast 6 and Fast 7 will not be shot back to back.
The actor is set to reprise the role of Luke Hobbs in the movies, a character that we saw for the first time in Fast 5 last summer.
Fast 5 was the highest grossing movie in the franchise and has paved the way for two more movies.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "I don't think we're going to shoot them back-to-back.
"We were going to try that because it wouldn't make sense to have the same crew and have everybody there in one place, but I think we're dealing with some weather issues.
"So from what I know we're going to shoot Fast 6 first and then worry about Fast 7 a little later."
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster will return to the franchise once more.
Johnson can currently be seen in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and he will be back on the big screen this summer with 2012 G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which will team him up with Bruce Willis & Channing Tatum.
