Sam Thompson has joined the cast of 'Inside Out 2'.
The 31-year-old reality TV star is to voice Security Man Sam, a character who finds himself on a chase with everyone’s favourite emotions, in the forthcoming Disney and Pixar film.
Thompson said: "Having watched Pixar films since I was a kid, it’s a dream come true to join the voice cast of 'Inside Out 2'.
"The film nods to the rollercoaster of emotions growing up and what a wild ride your teenage years can be.
"I for one can’t wait to see my family’s reaction to hearing my voice on the big screen."
The movie tells the story of teenager Riley, and the emotions she has are all characters, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, which know her "inside and out".
'Inside Out 2' will see the introduction of a new emotion - Anxiety.
Former 'Made in Chelsea' star Thompson will appear alongside Maya Hawke, who lends her voice to Anxiety, and Amy Poehler, who returns as the voice of Joy.
Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith and Ayo Edebiri are also part of the voice cast.
Kensington Tallman plays 13-year-old Riley, after replacing Kaitlyn Dias from the first film, 2015's 'Inside Out'.
Director Kelsey Mann recently said: "Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat.
"That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds."
Disney and Pixar’s 'Inside Out 2' will release only in cinemas on 14th June, 2024.
