Filming on the highly anticipated Deadpool has just got underway and Ryan Reynolds has posed for a great first image from the film.

Deadpool is a movie that has been a long time in the planning - we saw Reynolds take on the role of Wade Wilson for the first time in X-Men Origins: Wolverine back in 2009 - and we have just under a year to wait before we see this film finally hit the big screen.
Filming on the movie has just got underway in Vancouver, Canada and will see Reynolds return to this great role for a first solo outing. Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, T.J. Miller, and Ed Shrein will all also be joining him on the cast list.
Tim Miller is in the director's chair for the film, as he is set to make his feature film directorial debut with the project.
Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool is already being tipped as one of the comic book movies not to miss next year and there is plenty of excitement building around this film - can't wait to see what Reynolds and co deliver.
Deadpool is released February 2016.
