'Deadpool 2' is expected to start filming in January.
The sequel to this year's 'Deadpool' movie, which stars Ryan Reynolds in the titular role, is rumoured to begin production in the new year in Canada.
This is according to the 'Upcoming' section of movie website What's Filming, which details which motion pictures are shooting in Vancouver and British Columbia.
However, the film doesn't currently have a director after Tim Miller pulled out of the sequel.
He is reported to have departed the role because of creative differences with lead star Reynolds, despite the pair enjoying a close working relationship on the first film.
It was reported Miller and Reynolds, who was a producer on 'Deadpool', "increasingly butted heads over certain creative issues" on the sequel.
An official title for the follow up movie is yet to have been revealed, nor a release date, but it to be scripted by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who penned the first movie.
David Leitch is said to be in talks to replace Miller as the director of the movie and is thought to be top of the studio's list of candidates, which also includes Drew Goddard and Magnus Martens.
Producer Simon Kinberg recently said: "I think 'Deadpool 2' will comment on anything that's happening in movies today especially in superhero movies. The sort of glut or saturation of these movies and the proliferation of sequels is definitely something we'll play around with."
