Dave Bautista is worried a 'Guardians of the Galaxy' sequel won't live up to the first film.
Dave Bautista has revealed that although there are lots of things he'd like to see in a 'Guardians of the Galaxy' sequel, he's worried it wouldn't be good as the first.
The professional wrestler stars as Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Comics movie directed by James Gunn, which is set for worldwide release later this week, and he's worried that a sequel may not be as good.
He explained: "I think this one's going to be hard to top but if anyone can do it James can, just because he's so creative and imaginative but I really think ... I'd like to see them tell you more detailed stories of the character's pasts because they're very interesting and I think it it's kind of going to make people love them even more and get more attached to them."
Bautista's co-star Chris Pratt - who stars as Peter Quill aka Star Lord in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' - agreed and suggested there could be more than one sequel in the works.
Quizzed on what he'd like to see in a sequel, he said: "I would like to explore some of the questions that are left unanswered in the first movie. You could go deeper into the origin stories of Rocket or Drax or Gamora.
"I think it's going to be hard to pick which story you tell next but, God, there are so many you could go with."
