Daniel Radcliffe has landed the lead role in Brooklyn Bridge.
Radcliffe is set to take on the role of Washington Roebling in the historic drama which follows an inexperienced engineer tasked with overseeing the construction of the iconic landmark when his father passes away.
Douglas McGrath is in the director's chair for Brooklyn Bridge, in what is his first film since I Don't Know How She Does It back in 2011.
Goldcrest productions have been announced to finance, distribute and sell all international rights to the film and they are delighted to have Radcliffe on board.
Pascal Degove of Goldcrest Films said: "Having Daniel's involvement is a massive coup.
"Not only is he perfect for the role, but he's consistently proved himself to be one of the very few actors who is genuinely a massive draw for audiences of all ages."
Radcliffe is currently filming Frankenstein with James McAvoy, Andrew Scott and Jessica Brown Findlay.
Brooklyn Bridge is set to begin shooting this August.
