Colin Farrell has described Winter's Tale as a 'sweeping love story'.
Farrell will be back on the big screen in the new year with the Akiva Goldsman directed movie, and it calls it one of the most 'emotionally involving' scripts that he has ever read.
Speaking to Collider the actor said: "It should be beautiful and magical, and aesthetically incredibly engaging and pretty. Caleb, from what I saw on the monitor, did amazing work and the period lends itself to a certain type of beauty which is very classical.
"I read the script, again, two of the most emotionally involving scripts that I’ve read have been Saving Mr. Banks and Winter’s Tale.
"It was incredibly moving and very, very beautiful, and real old fashion love story - sweeping love story."
Farrell is part of an all star cast as Jessica Brown Findlay, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Will Smith and Matt Bomer are all also on board.
Winter's Tale is just one of the movies that we will be seeing Farrell in next ear, as he has also completed work on Miss Julie and Solace; the latter will see him star alongside Anthony Hopkins and Abbie Cornish.
Winter's Tale is released 21st February 2014.
