Cobain: Montage of Heck

Cobain: Montage of Heck has been penned and directed by Brett Morgen in what is his first documentary movie since Crossfire Hurricane back in 2013. And Morgen is no stranger to this genre of film, with the likes of On The Ropes and Chicago 10 under his belt.

This is the first ever, fully-authorized doc feature that blends Kurt Cobain's personal archive of art, music, written word, and never-before-seen home movies, with animation and revelatory interviews from his family and closest confidantes.

Cobain: Montage of Heck has been playing at the Sundance Festival this last week and will also be screen for the first time outside the U.S. at the Berlin International Film Festival in February.

Archival footage has been brought together of Cobain, while the likes of Dave Grohl and Courtney Love will also feature.

The movie is set to hit the big screen in the UK in April.
