Sebastian Stan has described Captain America: Civil War as 'darker' and 'grittier' than any movie that Marvel has delivered so far.
Stan is set to reprise the role of the Winter Solider/Bucky Barnes for his third Captain America film. The movie is set to explore and develop the friendship between Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes even further.
Speaking about what we can expect from the film at the premiere, the actor said: "The movie is a really specific kind of movie. It is darker and grittier than we have seen from Marvel I think.
"Look, it has heart, you care about everybody and you are definitely conflicted at the end of the film as to who you should be rooting for. It has some of the best action sequences that you have ever seen in a superhero movie."
Civil War sees Stan reunite with filmmakers Anthony and Joe Russo, who are back in the director's chair for the first time since the success of Captain America: The Winter Solider.
The movie is based on the much-loved Civil War storyline from the comics and will see the Avengers torn apart and going head to head.
This will be the first time that we have seen Stan on the big screen since the huge success of The Martian last autumn.
Stan will be joined on the cast list by franchise favourites Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Anthony Mackie. While Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Paul Bettany, and Elizabeth Olsen will be starring in a Captain America film for the first time.
Captain America: Civil War will kick off Phase 3 of Marvel films and will be the first of two Marvel movies to hit the big screen this year - the second comes in the form of Doctor Strange in the autumn.
Captain America: Civil War is released 29th April.
