Christopher Nolan has cast David Oyelowo and David Gyasi in 'Interstellar'.
'The Dark Knight Rises' director's eagerly anticipated sci-fi movie has added two new actors to its already star-studded cast led by Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Matthew McConaughey.
As with all of the other castings, the actors' roles have been shrouded in secrecy - something Nolan is known for - but they join an impressive roster of Hollywood stars in the film, including Sir Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow and Topher Grace.
37-year-old Oyelowo is no stranger to big Hollywood productions following roles in 'The Rise of the Planet of the Apes' and 'Jack Reacher'. He will next be seen in Lee Daniels' 'The Butler', which is being considered a frontrunner for the Oscars next year. The pair first worked together on the Zac Efron-starring 'The Paperboy', which Daniels also directed.
Meanwhile, Gyasi, 33, is known for TV show 'Apparitions' and recently had a role in 'Cloud Atlas', the Tom Hanks and Halle Berry-starring film directed by the Wachowski brothers.
'Interstellar' was written by Nolan and his brother Jonah Nolan and will follow a team of explorers who travel through a wormhole into another dimension.
The futuristic sci-fi thriller is a joint production between Paramount and Warner Bros. and is being produced by Nolan, Emma Thomas and Lynda Obst.
