Christoph Waltz says that he is not set to take on the role of Blofeld in Spectre.

Waltz is one of the new faces on board the cast list for the twenty fourth Bond film, and is set to play a character called Franz Oberhauser.
However, rumours have been swirling that the double Oscar winner will in fact be playing iconic villain Blofeld in the new film. Waltz has denied the speculation and rumours.
Speaking to GQ magazine, the actor said: "That is absolutely untrue. That rumour started on the internet, and the internet is a pest. The name of my character is Franz Oberhauser."
Waltz is one of the most in demand actors after his Best Supporting Actor Oscar wins for Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained in recent years. But the actor admits that he did hesitate before signing on to Spectre.
He continued: "I did, yes (think twice). I always hesitate ... You ask yourself, hang on: what James Bond are we talking about? The thing about Spectre is that it is not the work of hack writers.
"It does not have a hack director. The actors are not hams. The action sequences in Mexico are extravagant to say the least.
"The scenes in Austria are traditional Bond action in the snow. These films with Daniel Craig have shifted the tone. They don't depend on a set formula that forces actors simply to go through the motions."
Spectre will mark the first time that Waltz has worked with Sam Mendes, who is back in the director's chair for his second consecutive Bond movie.
Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, and Andrew Scott are also on board, while Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, and Jesper Christensen are back as M, Q, Eve Moneypenny, and Mr White. Spectre will be the fourth Bond film for Daniel Craig.
We have not seen Waltz on the big screen since Big Eyes, which was released in December, but he has completed work on Tulip Fever and Tarzan.
Spectre is released 23rd October.
