Christian Bale believes he will be cut from Terrence Malick's untitled film project because he wasn't able to film as much as planned.
Bale reunites with Malick for the first time since The New World for two further films; Knight of Cups and the untitled movie.
And while we will be seeing plenty of the Oscar winner in Knight of Cups, he is not expecting the same in the second film.
Speaking to Thompson on Film the actor said: "With Knight of Cups I was there the whole time," Bale told Thompson on Film.
"The other one I unfortunately wasn't able to do everything I was meant to do, so I ended up doing like three, four days on that. Which in Terry's world means you're never going to see me in it."
Knight of Cups will see Bale star alongside Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett and Antonio Banderas, while the untitled film sees Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender on board.
2014 is set to be a busy year for Bale as we are also going to be seeing him in Out of the Furnace and America Hustle.
American Hustle is already winning awards and is tipped to be a major Oscar contender by the time the nominations are revealed.
